A routine interception near a sensitive security site in Chaman area of Balochistan quickly escalated into a deadly exchange, drawing attention to persistent cross-border threats.
In Chaman, security forces engaged motorcycle-riding terrorists near a Frontier Corps compound after they reportedly ignored signals to stop and opened fire. Forces responded immediately, resulting in one terrorist being eliminated while his accomplice was injured.
A Security personnel was also injured during the exchange, with further details about his condition awaited.
The body of the eliminated terrorist and the injured individuals were shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman for treatment and medico-legal formalities. Both terrorists sustained bullet injuries during the retaliatory fire, according to initial reports.
