Pakistani security forces successfully thwarted a planned ambush of Fitna-al-Hindustan in the Washuk district of Balochistan during a timely, intelligence-based operation. According to security sources, the operation was initiated following credible intelligence regarding the presence of armed militants, referred to as Fitna-al-Hindustan, who were preparing to carry out an attack on security personnel in the area. Acting swiftly on this information, security forces moved to intercept the suspects, resulting in an intense exchange of fire.
During the engagement, two militants affiliated with the group were neutralized, while two others sustained injuries. The prompt and decisive response by security personnel effectively disrupted the planned ambush, preventing potential casualties.
Security forces recovered a cache of weapons, mobile phones, and a flag linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), further substantiating the identity and intent of the assailants.
A comprehensive clearance and search operation is currently underway in the surrounding areas to ensure the complete neutralization of any remaining elements and to maintain stability in the region.
Officials reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to countering all forms of militancy and ensuring the safety and security of citizens. They emphasized that such proactive operations underscore the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces to uphold peace and national integrity.
