Pakistan Launches Devastating Cyber Strike on India, Cripples BJP Website, Military Networks

In a sweeping cyber offensive dubbed the most extensive in regional history, Pakistani hackers crippled critical Indian digital infrastructure, wiping out content from dozens of official websites and leaking classified data from key security and civilian institutions, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian Air Force (IAF), and Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

The coordinated cyber retaliation, reportedly linked to escalating regional tensions, breached a wide range of Indian systems. Among the compromised websites were the Crime Research Investigation Agency, Mahanagar Telecommunication Company Limited, Bharat Earth Movers Limited, and the All India Naval Technical Supervisory Staff Association—many of which were entirely wiped clean of data.

High-value military and strategic portals were also dismantled, including the websites of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and the Indian Border Security Force. Leaked datasets exposed confidential records from UIDAI, the IAF, and the Maharashtra Election Commission.

In an unprecedented breach of internal surveillance, over 2,500 Indian security cameras were also hacked and disabled. The full extent of the data leaks remains unclear, but sources within cybersecurity circles described the operation as “surgical and deeply penetrative.”

As Indian authorities scramble to assess the damage, observers say the attack demonstrates Pakistan’s sharpened cyber warfare capability, signaling a new front in the ongoing geopolitical confro

ntation.
