South Waziristan – In a significant show of solidarity, tribal leaders and elders from South Waziristan, including the areas of Wana, and Azam Warsak, met with the Commandant of South Waziristan Scouts to discuss security matters and further strengthen cooperation with state institutions in the fight against terrorism. This cooperation, which began in South Waziristan, has spread across the newly merged districts, reaching areas like Kurram, North Waziristan’s Dattakhel, and the Watezai tribe in Kohat Division.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on maintaining law and order, fostering mutual cooperation, and addressing security concerns. Tribal elders paid tribute to the sacrifices made by security forces in the region and praised their relentless efforts to establish lasting peace.
The elders also reaffirmed their commitment to continue collaborating with state institutions in maintaining peace and stability in the area, recognizing the vital role of joint efforts in countering terrorism and ensuring the region’s security.
