Commander National Strategic Command General Syed Amir Raza has warned that cross-border infiltration will not be tolerated under any circumstances, declaring that Pakistan’s national security is non-negotiable.

Addressing the passing-out ceremony at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, General Amir Raza said Pakistan’s armed forces remained fully prepared to defend every inch of the country and safeguard its territorial integrity.

He told graduating cadets that they would face new challenges as they entered professional military service, urging them to confront these tests with courage, integrity and determination. He emphasized that leadership required honesty, bravery and the resolve to fulfill responsibilities under difficult circumstances.

The commander said the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty and security remained the foremost responsibility of its armed forces. He stressed that infiltration from across the border would not be accepted, reiterating the military’s commitment to defending the country against threats to its security.

General Amir Raza also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic role in promoting regional peace, saying the country’s efforts to mediate amid recent regional tensions had received international attention. He said sustained diplomatic engagement remained important for stability in an increasingly volatile regional environment.

Addressing broader regional issues, he reiterated Pakistan’s position that the Kashmir dispute remained unresolved under relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and stressed that a lasting regional peace required its resolution. He also called for an end to human rights violations in Palestine.

The commander paid tribute to military personnel sacrificing their lives in defense of the country, reminding the cadets that the responsibility for protecting Pakistan’s security, dignity and sovereignty would rest heavily on their shoulders.

He also welcomed the participation of women in the armed forces, describing their contribution as a source of pride and noting that Pakistan’s military had demonstrated its capabilities across multiple fields.

The ceremony marked the graduation of cadets from the 73rd Integrated Course, the 28th Lady Cadet Course, the 154th Pakistan Military Academy Long Course and the 39th Technical Graduate Course.

The passing-out ceremony marked the transition of the newly commissioned officers from military training to professional service, where they will assume responsibilities in defending Pakistan’s borders and responding to evolving security challenges.
