Security forces continue to conduct decisive and intelligence-driven operations against Fitna al-Khawarij across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, with the objective of dismantling Khawarij networks, disrupting their operational infrastructure, and ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
According to security sources, security forces conducted successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in several areas of North Waziristan, including Palang Zai, Nadeem Kot and Kot Khazri, targeting hideouts and positions of Fitna al-Khawarij.
During the operations, nine Khawarij were eliminated, including four key Khawarij commanders, identified as Khawarij Khalid Raza, Khawarij Kamran, Khawarij Musa and Khawarij Maftoom.
The elimination of these four key commanders constitutes a significant operational setback for Fitna al-Khawarij and is expected to disrupt its command, control and operational capabilities in the area.
The operations were conducted on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence and activities of Fitna al-Khawarij. Security forces effectively engaged the identified Khawarij positions and successfully cleared the targeted areas.
A significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and other military equipment was also recovered from the Khawarij eliminated during the operations. The recovery further highlights the operational preparations and hostile activities being undertaken by Fitna al-Khawarij in the area.
Under the ongoing Azm-e-Istehkam vision, security forces have also destroyed several Khawarij hideouts and associated infrastructure being used for planning, coordination and other hostile activities.
The successful operations in North Waziristan reflect the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to deny Fitna al-Khawarij any opportunity to establish or maintain safe havens and operational networks in the region. Intelligence-based operations will continue to be undertaken against Khawarij elements wherever their presence is identified.
Security forces remain fully committed to pursuing and dismantling the networks, command structures and support infrastructure of Fitna al-Khawarij. Sustained and intelligence-driven operations are being conducted to ensure that Khawarij elements are prevented from threatening the security and well-being of the local population.
