Security forces successfully foiled an attempted attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy in Dalbandin, Chagai, after terrorists targeted the convoy near Shakirullah Hotel. According to the available information, the attackers attempted to strike the FC convoy, prompting an immediate and effective response from security personnel. During the ensuing exchange of fire, three terrorists were neutralised by the security forces.
The swift response prevented the attackers from carrying out their intended assault and disrupted the attempted attack in the area. The incident reportedly began when a group of terrorists attempted to attack an FC convoy operating in the vicinity of Shakirullah Hotel in Dalbandin. Security personnel responded to the threat, engaging the attackers in an exchange of fire.
As a result of the engagement, three terrorists were eliminated, while other members of the attacking group reportedly fled the area following the security forces’ response. The successful intervention brought the immediate attack to an end and prevented the attackers from achieving their apparent objective.
Following the exchange of fire, security forces launched a search operation in the surrounding area to locate and apprehend the fleeing attackers. The operation is focused on tracking the movements of the remaining members of the group and preventing them from escaping the area. Security personnel are continuing efforts to secure the vicinity and identify any possible routes used by the fleeing terrorists.
