Pakistan Army personnel, working alongside rescue teams and local residents, rescued three of four people trapped inside a collapsed coal mine near Pastwana Top in Hassan Khel, Peshawar, as rescue efforts continued to recover the remaining person.
The incident occurred when soil and debris suddenly collapsed inside the coal mine, trapping four people underground.
Army personnel rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the incident and launched a rescue operation in coordination with local residents and rescue teams.
The operation involved carefully removing the debris and clearing a path into the mine to reach the trapped individuals. Heavy machinery was deployed to assist in clearing the rubble, while rescue personnel continued working under difficult conditions.
After sustained efforts, three of the four trapped individuals were safely brought out of the mine.
Rescue operations remained underway to locate and recover the fourth person, with Army personnel, rescue teams and local residents continuing their coordinated efforts.
