Security forces have eliminated 13 terrorists and injured 11 others during an intelligence-based operation in Maqsood Bagh, Balochistan, following reports of terrorist presence in the area, security sources said.
According to sources, security forces cordoned off terrorist hideouts and launched an effective operation, triggering an intense exchange of fire.
As a result of the operation, 13 terrorists were killed and 11 others sustained injuries. Security forces recovered the bodies of two terrorists along with weapons.
A terrorist hideout was also completely destroyed during the operation, disrupting the infrastructure used by the terrorist network.
Search operations are underway to recover the bodies of the remaining terrorists killed in the encounter.
Security forces continue to conduct intelligence-based operations across Balochistan to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain peace and stability in the province.
