Lakki Marwat: Security Forces Strike Khawarij Hideout in Kotkai, 2 Killed, 4 Seriously Injured

 Security forces carried out a precision quadcopter strike against a confirmed presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Khawarij in the Kotkai area of Lakki Marwat district, according to security sources. The operation was conducted after the presence of a group of TTP Khawarij, including a reported commander associated with the Adnan group, was confirmed in the area.

During the targeted operation, security forces employed a quadcopter to engage the identified Khawarij position. Two munitions were dropped on the hideout, accurately striking the targeted location.

According to initial reports, the strike resulted in the killing of two Khawarij, including Commander Rizwan alias Sayyad and Mustafa. The strike also reportedly left four other Khawarij seriously injured. Security sources said the casualties occurred among the Khawarij present at the targeted location at the time of the operation.

The operation was carried out following confirmation of the presence of TTP Khawarij elements in the area and was aimed at disrupting the group’s operational network and neutralizing individuals involved in terrorist activities.

The reported killing of Commander Rizwan alias Sayyad represents a significant setback for the targeted Khawarij group, while the injuries sustained by four additional Khawarij are expected to further disrupt the group’s operational capability in the area.

Security forces continue to maintain a close watch over the surrounding areas to monitor the movement of Khawarij elements and prevent them from exploiting the terrain for regrouping or carrying out further terrorist activities.
