Police personnel from various units participated in a firing practice session at the Police Lines firing range in Lakki Marwat as part of efforts to strengthen their operational readiness and response capabilities.
Personnel from the district police, Elite Force, Al-Barq and Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) took part in the practical exercise. The session focused on improving firing skills, marksmanship and professional proficiency needed to respond effectively to security and counterterrorism challenges.
The practice provided police personnel with an opportunity to refine their weapons handling and targeting skills through practical drills and assess their preparedness for emergency situations.
The exercise was held as part of ongoing efforts to improve the operational capabilities of police personnel, particularly in view of the security challenges confronting the district and the wider region.
Police authorities emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of physical fitness, firing proficiency and professional training so personnel remain prepared to respond to terrorist threats and other security emergencies.
Regular firing practice, physical fitness activities and other professional training exercises are being conducted to further enhance the operational preparedness of the police force and enable personnel to perform their security and counterterrorism duties more effectively.
