Security Forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dubando area of Dir, targeting elements affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP), according to initial reports. During the operation, security personnel engaged the Khawarij based on actionable intelligence regarding their presence in the area. In the ensuing operation, three TTP Khawarij were killed.
Following the successful action, security personnel recovered the bodies of the killed Khawarij along with weapons from the area. The recovery of arms provides further indication of the armed nature of the group operating in the locality.
The operation reflects the continued efforts of Security Forces to identify and neutralize Khawarij elements through intelligence-led actions, particularly in areas where militant networks may attempt to exploit difficult terrain and local vulnerabilities.
The successful operation also demonstrates the importance of timely intelligence, operational preparedness, and coordinated action in countering threats to the security and stability of the region. By acting on intelligence and conducting a targeted operation, Security Forces were able to disrupt the presence of TTP-linked Khawarij in the area.

Operations against Khawarij elements are being conducted on the basis of credible intelligence to prevent attacks, disrupt militant networks, and protect local communities.
