Security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations against Khawarij elements across Balochistan, neutralizing 15 Khawarij and recovering a substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition during a series of coordinated actions conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3.
According to security sources, the operations were carried out across several strategically important districts, including Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai, and Nushki, as security forces continued efforts to disrupt armed networks and prevent them from carrying out violent activities in the province.
Security forces conducted multiple intelligence-driven actions after receiving information regarding the presence and movement of Khawarij elements in different areas of Balochistan.
The operations targeted suspected hideouts, movement routes, and operational networks associated with Khawarij elements. As a result of the coordinated actions, 15 Khawarij were neutralized, according to security sources.
A significant quantity of arms, ammunition, and other military-related equipment was also recovered from the possession of the Khawarij during the operations.
The recovery of weapons and ammunition is being viewed as an important operational development, as it could potentially prevent the seized material from being used in future attacks against security personnel, law-enforcement agencies, or civilians.
The latest operations have reportedly inflicted a significant blow to the operational network of Khawarij elements operating in Balochistan.
Security sources stated that sustained and effective intelligence-based operations have disrupted the movement of Khawarij elements and significantly restricted their ability to operate freely across the affected areas.
The geographical spread of the operations from Mastung and Bolan to Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai, and Nushki also reflects the continued focus of security forces on identifying and disrupting armed networks across multiple areas of the province.
By targeting operational infrastructure and movement networks, security forces aim to prevent Khawarij elements from reorganizing, establishing new hideouts, or facilitating further acts of violence.
The latest actions highlight the growing importance of timely intelligence in countering armed networks.
Rather than relying solely on conventional security measures, intelligence-based operations allow security forces to identify specific locations, movement patterns, and individuals associated with hostile networks before they can execute planned attacks.
The recovery of a substantial quantity of arms and ammunition further indicates the operational significance of the actions conducted during the latest phase of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3. Balochistan’s challenging terrain and the presence of remote mountainous areas have historically created opportunities for armed groups to establish temporary hideouts and movement corridors.
Security forces have therefore maintained sustained surveillance and intelligence-gathering efforts to prevent Khawarij elements from exploiting these areas.
The latest operations demonstrate that security agencies remain focused on disrupting such networks before they can translate their presence into attacks or other acts of violence.
