Pakistani Security Forces have successfully neutralized ten Indian-backed Khawarij terrorists during separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, further strengthening the country’s ongoing campaign to eliminate terrorist threats and safeguard national security, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations were carried out in multiple locations across the province following credible intelligence regarding terrorist activity. The latest successes underscore the operational readiness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s Armed Forces in confronting terrorism and protecting the lives of citizens.
According to the ISPR, the most significant engagement occurred in the Azam Warsak area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Indian-backed Khwarij terrorists attempted to launch an attack on a security forces check post. Security personnel responded swiftly and effectively, engaging the attackers in a fierce exchange of fire that resulted in the elimination of eight terrorists.
The ISPR stated that the prompt and decisive response by security forces successfully foiled the attempted assault, preventing the terrorists from achieving their objectives and reaffirming the military’s vigilance against hostile threats.
In a separate intelligence-based operation conducted in Upper Dir District, security forces engaged another group of terrorists, resulting in the elimination of two additional Khwarij militants. The operation was executed with precision as part of continued efforts to deny terrorist groups the ability to regroup or establish operational footholds in the region.
These successful operations form part of Pakistan’s broader and sustained counterterrorism strategy aimed at dismantling militant networks, disrupting their operational capabilities, and ensuring lasting peace and stability throughout the country.
The latest developments follow earlier operations conducted by security forces in the Balochistan districts of Washuk and Mastung, where twelve terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan were eliminated during separate intelligence-led operations. Those operations dealt a significant blow to militant elements seeking to undermine Pakistan’s internal security and regional stability.
The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to pursuing terrorists and their facilitators wherever they may be found. Intelligence-based operations will continue across the country until every terrorist network is dismantled and the threat of militancy is completely eradicated.
Military officials emphasized that the sacrifices and determination of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, supported by the resilience and cooperation of the nation, remain central to defeating terrorism in all its forms. The Armed Forces reiterated their resolve to continue operations with unwavering determination to ensure a secure, peaceful, and stable Pakistan.
