The process of individuals associated with banned militant organizations renouncing violence, surrendering weapons, and distancing themselves from terrorist networks continues, reflecting growing rejection of extremist narratives and unlawful activities, according to official statements.
In a recent account, former militant Arman Baloch revealed details of his involvement with the banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), stating that he was misled and exploited by terrorist elements through false promises and coercive tactics.
Arman Baloch stated that he initially travelled to Iran with a friend in search of employment opportunities. During his stay, he was allegedly abducted by militants and taken to mountainous areas, where he was introduced to banned BLF commander Qamar Brohi. Following this encounter, he said he was pressured into joining the militant organization.
According to his statement, he remained associated with the group for approximately six months, during which he received militant training and participated in two attacks in the areas of Tump and Buleda. However, he later realized that the path he had chosen was wrong and sought to leave the organization.
He stated that when he expressed his desire to abandon militancy and return home, he faced violence and pressure from members of the organization. The experience, he said, made him recognize the destructive nature of terrorist networks and their exploitation of young individuals.
Expressing regret over his past actions, Arman Baloch vowed never to become involved in any illegal activity again. He also sought forgiveness from state institutions and called upon young people across Balochistan to remain vigilant against terrorist recruitment campaigns and misleading propaganda.
“Do not fall into the trap of terrorist organizations, their false narratives, and empty promises,” he urged, emphasizing that youth should remain loyal to their country and pursue a peaceful and responsible future.
The continued distancing of young individuals from militant organizations highlights the growing rejection of extremist ideologies and exposes the false narratives promoted by terrorist groups.
