Security Forces Foil Khawarij Infiltration Attempt Near North Waziristan, 8 Eliminated

Security Forces successfully thwarted an attempted infiltration by a group of Afghan-based Hafiz Gul Bahadur (HGB) Khawarij near the border area of Datta Khel in North Waziristan, preventing the hostile elements from entering the area.

According to security sources, Security Forces detected and intercepted the movement of an infiltration group belonging to Hafiz Gul Bahadur (HGB) Khawarij and took timely action to stop their advance. The swift response disrupted the attempted infiltration and forced the Khawarij elements into an armed engagement with Security Forces.

During the exchange of fire, six Khawarij were eliminated, while another five to six Khawarij sustained injuries. The effective response by Security Forces neutralized the immediate threat and prevented the infiltrating group from carrying out its intended activities.

Following the engagement, Security Forces launched a comprehensive clearance operation in the area to ensure the complete sanitization of the surroundings and to locate any remaining Khawarij elements. During the clearance operation, the bodies of two additional Fitna al-Khawarij were recovered.

The successful operation reflects the vigilance, operational readiness, and professional capabilities of Security Forces in countering infiltration attempts and eliminating threats posed by Fitna al-Khawarij and their affiliated networks.
