Bannu Clearance Operation Intensifies, 37 Fitna al-Khawarij Terrorists Neutralized, 20 Arrested

Security forces continue to conduct extensive clearance operations across several areas of Bannu, including Baka Khel, Jani Khel, Marriyan, Sarah Dargah, and Tehsil Wazir, targeting alleged hideouts and support networks of Fitna al-Khawarij.

According to field sources, the ongoing operations have resulted in significant progress, with 37 terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij neutralized, while 20 terrorists and their facilitators have been apprehended so far during the course of the clearance activities.

Sources further stated that a majority of those neutralized during the operations were reportedly Afghan nationals involved in hostile activities. The successful actions reflect the effectiveness of intelligence-driven operations and the continued efforts of security forces to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the region.

The clearance operations are being conducted as part of a broader security initiative aimed at eliminating terrorist hideouts, disrupting support structures, and restoring peace and stability in affected areas.
