Members of Fitna al-Hindustan reportedly intercepted and set fire to a cargo container traveling from Taftan to Quetta in Balochistan’s Noshki District, in another incident targeting public transportation and commercial movement in the province.
According to security sources, the incident occurred on 11 July in the Keshingi area of Noshki, where approximately 15 to 20 members of Fitna al-Hindustan stopped a container loaded with gravel before deliberately setting it on fire.
The container was completely destroyed in the blaze. However, the driver, Zafarullah, son of Mirza Khan and a resident of Qila Abdullah District, escaped the incident safely and did not sustain any injuries.
Following the attack, law enforcement agencies reached the scene, secured the area, and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify those responsible. Further operational measures are underway.
The attack is viewed as another attempt by Fitna al-Hindustan to disrupt public order, intimidate civilians, and undermine commercial activity and transportation networks in Balochistan. Such acts not only threaten the safety of citizens but also seek to create fear and economic disruption in the region.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to pursuing those involved in such acts and ensuring that all elements responsible are brought to justice. Intelligence-based operations and coordinated security measures will continue to safeguard vital transportation routes, protect civilians, and preserve peace and stability across Balochistan.
Authorities have reaffirmed their resolve to counter all attempts by hostile elements to destabilize the province and have urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement agencies by reporting any suspicious activity.
