Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has reaffirmed that the state is fully committed to defeating the nefarious designs of terrorists and ensuring lasting peace and stability in the province. He stated that terrorists attempt to spread fear and uncertainty by targeting vulnerable and soft targets; however, the state is responding with full force and determination to thwart their objectives.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during his visit to a local hospital, where he met and inquired about the health of those injured in the Hanna Urak terrorism incident. He expressed his best wishes for their speedy recovery and praised their courage and resilience in facing the attackers.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Chief Minister Bugti said that the ongoing war against terrorism would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs. He emphasized that the sacrifices of martyrs would never be forgotten and that their families would not be left alone under any circumstances.
He stated that the welfare and support of affected families is both a constitutional and moral responsibility of the Government of Balochistan, which would be fulfilled in letter and spirit. The Chief Minister announced that children of martyrs would be provided free education up to 16 years of age, scholarships, and complete institutional support to secure their future.
“While no financial assistance can compensate for the loss of a precious life, the government will ensure comprehensive care and support for the families of those who sacrificed their lives,” he said.
Highlighting the sacrifices of law enforcement personnel, Chief Minister Bugti noted that a police official had been injured for the fourth time while courageously confronting terrorists in recent months. He stated that the sacrifices, dedication, and professionalism of Balochistan Police are a matter of pride for the entire nation.
He added that Balochistan Police has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and commitment in the fight against terrorism within a short period of time. He further stated that all law enforcement agencies are working in complete coordination and harmony to conduct effective operations against terrorist elements.
The Chief Minister rejected negative propaganda regarding Balochistan, stating that such narratives are contrary to ground realities. He reiterated that the writ of the state would be maintained at all costs and vowed that indiscriminate actions against terrorists, their facilitators, and anti-state elements would be further intensified.
Later, a high-level meeting on the law and order situation and the Hanna Urak incident was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti. The meeting reviewed the prevailing security situation and approved a series of important measures aimed at restoring peace and eliminating terrorist threats from the area.

The committee, headed by Provincial Minister for Interior Mir Ziaullah Langau and Provincial Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, will immediately initiate contacts with protesters, tribal elders, elected representatives, and other relevant stakeholders.
As part of enhanced security measures, the meeting approved the immediate establishment of a joint check post in the affected area.
According to the decision, the joint check post will become operational immediately, where all law enforcement agencies will perform their security responsibilities collectively to maintain peace, improve coordination, and ensure the protection of citizens.
