FC Balochistan (South) foiled a human smuggling attempt during a checkpoint operation in the Sehyadak area of Dalbandin, detaining 112 illegal Afghan nationals.
According to officials, the individuals were intercepted while being transported through the area in vehicles allegedly linked to smuggling networks operating across the border.
Authorities stated that human smuggling networks exploit vulnerable populations facing economic and humanitarian challenges in Afghanistan, facilitating illegal migration routes through Pakistan and onward towards Iran and Türkiye in some cases.
The detained individuals and vehicles used in the attempt have been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
FC Balochistan (South) said operations against human smuggling networks and illegal border crossings are ongoing in the region.
