Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) successfully responded to a terrorist rocket attack targeting innocent civilians in the Balicha area of Tump, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to protecting the local population and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Following the attack, FC Balochistan (South) launched an immediate and well-coordinated counterterrorism operation based on timely intelligence and rapid ground deployment. Security forces swiftly moved to engage the perpetrators and deny them any opportunity to regroup or conduct further hostile activities.
Upon the arrival and advance of security forces, the terrorists—identified as elements associated with Fitna al-Hindustan were unable to withstand the pressure of the operation and fled towards nearby forested areas. In their hasty retreat, they abandoned weapons, ammunition, motorcycles, and other operational equipment.
A comprehensive search of the area resulted in the recovery of a significant quantity of terrorist materiel, including:
• 6 Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) magazines
• 150 rounds of SMG ammunition
• 2 Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) rounds
• 2 hand grenades
• 2 motorcycles used for movement and logistics
The recovered items indicate the hostile intent and operational preparedness of the terrorists and highlight the effectiveness of the security forces’ timely intervention in disrupting their activities. The successful operation not only prevented the possibility of further attacks but also dealt a substantial blow to the terrorists’ operational capabilities in the area.
