Pakistan’s Security Forces have achieved a significant success in the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign by neutralizing twenty-seven terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted in the general area of Miran Shah, North Waziristan District.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were carried out over the last seventy-two hours following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorist elements in the region. Security Forces engaged multiple terrorist hideouts and locations in a coordinated and meticulously planned operation aimed at dismantling militant networks operating in the area.
During intense and fierce exchanges of fire, twenty-seven terrorists were successfully neutralized. The operations demonstrated the professionalism, courage, and unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s Security Forces in confronting and eliminating threats posed by foreign-sponsored terrorist organizations.
A substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and other war-like stores was recovered from the killed terrorists. The neutralized militants were actively involved in numerous acts of terrorism, including attacks against security forces, target killings, and the murder of innocent civilians. Their elimination represents a major blow to terrorist infrastructure and operational capabilities in the region.
The successful operation has also avenged the heinous target killing of prominent local figure Shaheed Malik Saifullah Dawar in Miran Shah. Through the neutralization of the perpetrators and their associates, the state has ensured that those responsible for this cowardly act have been brought to justice, reaffirming its commitment to protecting its citizens and upholding the rule of law.
Security Forces continue comprehensive sanitization operations in the affected areas to locate and eliminate any remaining terrorists who may still be in hiding. The operations are being conducted with utmost vigilance to ensure the complete clearance of terrorist elements and the restoration of lasting peace and stability in the region.
