Security forces have eliminated two terrorists during an ongoing intelligence-based operation in the Akakhel Madah Khail Par Khail area of Bara, after receiving confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists.
According to security sources, the operation was launched following actionable intelligence inputs, leading to a swift engagement in which both terrorists were neutralized. Officials said weapons and related material are likely to be recovered as clearance efforts continue in the surrounding terrain.
Security measures in the area have been further tightened, with additional deployments and surveillance strengthening the cordon as forces continue to track any remaining terrorist presence.
The operation is still underway, forming part of broader counter-terrorism efforts across Khyber district, where security forces have recently conducted multiple intelligence-based actions to dismantle terrorist networks and restrict their movement corridors.
Officials emphasized that such operations will continue until the complete elimination of terrorist threats from the region is achieved.
