Claims circulating on social media on accounts linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) declared by the state as Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH), regarding widespread road blockades and deteriorating security conditions in Balochistan have once again been contradicted by ground realities, with traffic continuing to move normally across the province’s major highways, urban centers and connecting routes.
According to available information, the uninterrupted movement of vehicles, routine public travel and effective security monitoring on key roads indicate that the overall situation remains stable and under control. Daily commercial and civilian activities are continuing without disruption, reflecting normal conditions across much of the province.
Security officials say terrorist groups and other hostile elements are attempting to use online platforms to spread fear and uncertainty by portraying an inaccurate picture of the situation in Balochistan. However, ongoing public movement and transportation activity continue to challenge those claims.
Ground Realities Undercut Online Propaganda
Authorities maintain that security forces retain a strong presence on major routes, cities and highways throughout the province, ensuring the safety of commuters and maintaining law and order. Travelers are continuing their journeys while security checks remain in place to safeguard public security.
Analysts note that misinformation campaigns often seek to amplify anxiety and create a perception of instability, particularly in regions targeted by terrorist organizations and anti-state propaganda networks. In the case of Balochistan, officials say such efforts have failed to gain traction among residents who are witnessing the situation firsthand.
Officials reiterated that attempts to spread panic through false narratives will not overshadow realities on the ground, emphasizing that public vigilance and responsible information sharing remain essential in countering propaganda aimed at undermining peace and stability in the province.
