Security sources report that a terrorist attempt to disrupt peace in Rehman Kalley area of Nushki was swiftly neutralized after security forces responded to intelligence regarding terrorist presence and attempted blockade activity in the region.

According to details, armed terrorists attempted to establish a disruptive presence and target movement in the area, but security forces moved quickly to engage them, resulting in the killing of two terrorists and injuring two others. The remaining assailants reportedly retreated under pressure from the timely response.

During the confrontation, terrorists allegedly used civilian laborers as human shields to facilitate their escape. In the process, four Sindhi workers were abducted and taken to an undisclosed location, raising immediate concerns over civilian safety and prompting intensified search efforts.

Security officials have confirmed that the area has been cordoned off and a comprehensive search and clearance operation is underway to trace the fleeing terrorists and recover the abducted workers. Reinforcement units have been deployed to seal potential escape routes and ensure containment of any remaining threat.

Preliminary assessments suggest that the attack was part of a broader attempt by terrorists to destabilize local movement corridors and intimidate labor groups working on development-linked activities in the region.

Authorities emphasized that such tactics, including the use of civilians as shields and targeted abductions, reflect a pattern of increasing desperation among terrorist networks facing sustained pressure from ongoing intelligence-led operations across Balochistan.

Officials further reiterated that security forces remain fully committed to safeguarding civilian lives, protecting workers engaged in regional projects, and eliminating all elements attempting to disrupt peace and economic activity.

The operation remains active, with search efforts continuing until all suspects are apprehended and the area is fully cleared.
