From Srinagar to Bhathinda: Air Chief Reveals How PAF “Shattered” Enemy Defences in Marka-e-Haq

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has said that the role of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in national defence is historic and will be remembered in golden words, reaffirming that the force has consistently demonstrated decisive capability in safeguarding Pakistan’s airspace and responding to aggression.

He made these remarks during a dignified ceremony held at Air Headquarters to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, where tributes were paid to the “Shaheens” of the Pakistan Air Force for their operational excellence and for what was described as a defining moment in the country’s military history.

Addressing the ceremony, the Air Chief stated that the Pakistan Air Force delivered a strong and decisive response to Indian aggression, effectively neutralizing hostile intentions and demonstrating operational superiority. He noted that following the alleged false flag incident in Pahalgam, India made baseless allegations against Pakistan, while Pakistan had offered a neutral and transparent investigation into the matter.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu emphasized that the Pakistan Air Force played a pivotal role in delivering a “crushing defeat” to the adversary, adding that PAF operations inflicted significant damage on enemy air defence capabilities. He stated that from Srinagar to Bhathinda, the Pakistan Air Force delivered a clear operational message to the adversary regarding its defensive readiness and strategic resolve.

He further highlighted that Pakistan’s cyber warriors played a critical role in disrupting and degrading the enemy’s cyber infrastructure, contributing to what he described as a comprehensive success across air, electronic, and cyber warfare domains.

According to the Air Chief, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated exceptional capability in modern multi-domain warfare, effectively integrating air, electronic, cyber, and drone operations to achieve operational objectives in record time. He added that enemy installations were accurately targeted, and hostile air defence systems, including advanced platforms, were neutralized during the course of operations.

He stated that the Pakistan Air Force successfully showcased its advanced drone warfare capability and proved its effectiveness in modern combat environments. “The enemy’s key installations were under constant surveillance and precision targeting,” he said, underscoring the force’s operational reach and effectiveness.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu further remarked that Pakistan’s response during Marka-e-Haq reflected professionalism, discipline, and technological advancement across all domains of warfare. He praised the performance of PAF personnel, stating that every officer, airman, and technical specialist contributed significantly to the success of the operation.

He extended congratulations to all personnel of the Pakistan Air Force for their outstanding performance and reaffirmed that the force remains fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and airspace under all circumstances.

The Air Chief concluded by reiterating that the Pakistan Air Force stands as the guardian of the nation’s skies and continues to evolve as a technologically advanced and operationally dominant force.

“Pakistan Air Force will remain, Insha’Allah, Second to None,” he stated, reaffirming its enduring role as a symbol of national pride, strength, and confidence.
