Security Forces Eliminate Five Terrorists in Intelligence-Based Operation in Khyber

Security Forces conducted a successful, intelligence-based counter-terrorism operation on the evening of 30 January in the Madanak hilltop area of Khyber District, effectively neutralizing a group of militants and disrupting their activities.

Acting on credible and timely intelligence, Security Forces precisely targeted a concealed hideout being used by unidentified Kharji militants. The operation was executed with a high degree of professionalism and operational accuracy, ensuring the effective engagement of hostile elements in the difficult terrain.

As a result of the operation, five to six militants affiliated with Fitna al Khwarij were neutralized. Initial reports further indicate the possibility of additional injuries and fatalities among the militants who were present at the hideout at the time of the engagement.

Security Forces have cordoned off the area, and clearance and assessment operations are currently underway to eliminate any remaining threats, recover weapons or equipment, and confirm final casualty figures. The operation reflects the continued resolve of the Security Forces to deny terrorists any safe haven.
