Security Forces conducted a highly successful intelligence-based operation along the Pakistan–Iran border, resulting in the interception of a vehicle transporting terrorists and a significant quantity of explosive material. During routine surveillance and targeted checks in the border area, Security Forces stopped a Zamiyad vehicle that was attempting to move across the frontier. Upon thorough inspection, the vehicle was found to be carrying ten (10) terrorists affiliated with FAH, along with plastic explosives concealed inside fuel cans, indicating a deliberate attempt to disguise and transport lethal materials.
The timely interception prevented the movement of dangerous individuals and explosives that posed a serious threat to regional security and civilian lives. The recovery of plastic explosives highlights the intent of the terrorists to carry out sabotage or terrorist activities within the region.
All individuals apprehended are now in custody, and the seized explosives have been secured in accordance with standard safety protocols. Further investigation is underway to determine the network, origin, and intended targets of the group, as well as any potential cross-border linkages.
This operation underscores the vigilance, professionalism, and operational readiness of the Security Forces, and reflects their unwavering commitment to safeguarding national borders and maintaining peace and stability. Enhanced border security measures and intelligence coordination continue to play a critical role in countering terrorism and preventing the movement of hostile elements.
