Balochistan Government to Seek Interpol Red Notices for 300 Wanted Terrorists

The Government of Balochistan has decided to formally approach Interpol for the issuance of Red Notices to arrest more than 300 wanted terrorists, including the heads and senior commanders of banned militant organisations operating from abroad. The provincial government will also initiate legal proceedings in international courts to ensure their accountability.

The decision was taken during an extraordinary high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. Senior civil and security officials briefed the meeting on the presence of extensive documentary evidence linking foreign-based militant leaders with their networks inside Pakistan.

Officials informed the Chief Minister that law enforcement agencies have compiled complete records of the terrorists’ connections with domestic facilitators, including communication logs, call recordings, financial transactions, and other verifiable material.

The meeting resolved that the provincial government would pursue a decisive, comprehensive action targeting both local facilitators and the leadership of banned groups sheltering abroad. It was further decided to accelerate the prosecution of all cases registered against the leaders and commanders of proscribed outfits, including the BLA, BRA, BLF, UBA, BRG, and Lashkar-e-Balochistan.

The Chief Minister directed that all evidence be documented according to international legal standards to strengthen the cases before global judicial forums. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring lasting peace in the province.
