North Waziristan: Security forces successfully thwarted a militant movement near the International Border, neutralising four terrorists, including members of Tehreek-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA).
The operation followed the detection of 8 to 10 militants moving in the Kotkai bowl area. Forces laid multiple ambushes and blockades to intercept them, sealing off escape routes along the Pak-Afghan border.
Heavy exchanges of fire resulted in four militants eliminated and two bodies recovered, including one TTA fighter. Authorities say the operation has cleared around 60% of the targeted area, significantly disrupting militant activity in the region.
