DG ISPR Vows Propaganda in Balochistan Will Fail

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that nefarious attempts to spread despondency among the people of Balochistan through negative propaganda will never succeed, as the province’s patriotic and resilient people stand fully aware of the designs of anti-state elements and their foreign sponsors.

According to the military’s media wing, a delegation of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), led by Kazim Khan, called on the DG ISPR and paid tribute to the Pakistan Army for its exemplary role during Maraka-e-Haq (Battle of Truth). The delegation noted that the armed forces demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the campaign, while the ISPR played a decisive role by countering Indian propaganda with timely and credible information.

The CPNE members stressed that Pakistan’s remarkable success in Maraka-e-Haq reflected the strength of national unity, forged through the collective efforts of the people, government, and armed forces. They also acknowledged the responsible role of the Pakistani media in supporting the national cause during critical moments.

On the occasion, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry underscored that the youth are the country’s greatest asset and their optimism about Pakistan is the strongest guarantee of a bright future. He said terrorism in Pakistan bore the imprint of India’s hostile mindset and resources, but the armed forces, backed by the nation, have complete capability to crush this proxy war.

“The conspiracies to demoralise the people of Balochistan through false narratives will never succeed,” the DG ISPR affirmed. “The brave and loyal people of the province have time and again rejected the agenda of anti-state elements and their foreign patrons.”

He further praised the responsible and constructive role of the Pakistani media, noting that during Maraka-e-Haq, the press not only upheld the highest journalistic standards but also effectively countered India’s hostile campaign.

The meeting concluded with the CPNE delegation presenting a commemorative shield to the DG ISPR in recognition of his services and the role of ISPR in safeguarding Pakistan’s narrative.
