In a series of decisive intelligence-based operations, Pakistan’s security forces have continued to deliver crushing blows to terror networks labeled as Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. The latest successes came in Bannu, where elite troops neutralized four khawarij and injured four others in two separate engagements.

Security sources confirmed that the first operation took place in the Nurar area of Bannu, following credible intelligence about terrorists presence. A fierce gun battle ensued, resulting in the killing of two khawarij and the injury of three. The slain terrorists were reportedly affiliated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur faction, a key group linked to Fitna al-Khawarij.

Following the initial clash, security forces launched a search operation in the area to track down remaining elements. Shortly after, another operation was initiated in the Jani Khel area of Bannu after reports of further khawarij movement. There, two more khawarij were killed and one injured in an intense exchange of fire.

Officials have confirmed that no casualties were sustained by the security personnel in either of the successful operations.

These missions are part of a broader counter-terrorism surge launched this month, as July continues to prove devastating for anti-state actors operating under foreign influence. According to military sources, from July 1st to 15th, 42 intelligence-led operations were conducted across the country, leading to the elimination of 17 terrorists and the capture of 42 others.

Security forces have reiterated their unwavering resolve to eliminate every last terrorist from Pakistani soil, regardless of the cost. Public sentiment in regions most affected, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, strongly supports a full-scale and decisive operation to ensure lasting peace and stability.

As the second half of July begins, the momentum of these operations suggests that Pakistan’s security apparatus remains firmly on the offensive, determined to deny anti-state elements any safe haven within the country.
