Civilians Injured in Mortar Attack by Fitna-al-Hindustan in Balochistan’s Gorkop

Elements of Fitna-al-Hindustan a label increasingly used for India-backed armed proxies launched an indiscriminate mortar attack on a civilian settlement in the Gorkop area of Balochistan, leaving at least seven innocent people injured.

According to district administration sources, mortar shells fired by the group landed within residential compounds, sparking panic and injuring several unarmed civilians, including women and children. Emergency medical teams provided first aid on-site before shifting the wounded to the district hospital for further treatment.

Officials have condemned the assault as a blatant act of cross-border subversion, characterizing Fitna-al-Hindustan as a destabilizing force targeting the peace and security of Pakistan’s southwestern province. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.

This latest incident underscores the persistent threat posed by foreign-sponsored insurgents seeking to undermine regional stability through violence against non-combatants.
