30 Indian-Sponsored Khawarij Eliminated in Decisive Operation by Security Forces: ISPR

Pakistan Army decisively foiled a major infiltration attempt by a large group of Indian-sponsored Khawarij in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District, during the nights of July 1st/2nd and 2nd/3rd, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement issued Thursday. According to ISPR, the movement of the Khawarij — affiliated with the Indian proxy network “Fitna al-Khawarij” — was detected as they attempted to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Pakistan Army troops, maintaining high alert and battlefield readiness, engaged the infiltrators with precise and effective firepower. As a result, all 30 Indian-backed Khawarij were neutralised on the spot. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the site, averting a potentially catastrophic terrorist attack.

“The operation demonstrated the unmatched vigilance, operational excellence, and professional competence of Pakistan’s security forces, who once again proved their ability to defend the nation against externally-sponsored threats,” the statement emphasized.

ISPR further called on the Interim Afghan Government to uphold its international obligations and ensure that Afghan territory is not exploited by foreign proxies for orchestrating acts of terrorism against Pakistan. The continued use of Afghan soil by Indian-backed elements poses a serious threat to regional security and stability.

Reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s commitment to national defence, the statement concluded:
“Pakistan’s Armed Forces remain resolute and unyielding in their mission to secure the country’s borders and to eliminate the scourge of Indian-sponsored Khawarij with full force and determination.”
