As tensions surge following Israel’s strikes on Iran, a growing body of analysis suggests that the longstanding covert collaboration between RAW and Mossad has now transformed into a full-scale strategic alliance, posing a serious threat to regional peace and stability.
Observers warn that the recent escalation is not just a bilateral confrontation between two adversaries but part of a broader intelligence and defence partnership aimed at reshaping power dynamics across the Muslim world.
“The attacks on Iranian targets are symptomatic of a larger RAW–Mossad agenda,” said a regional security expert. “Their joint operations now extend beyond espionage into full-spectrum military and cyber warfare.”
What began in the 1980s as secret intelligence sharing between RAW and Mossad has grown into an entrenched defence cooperation, with RAW leveraging Mossad’s battlefield-tested technologies. Over the last decade, RAW-backed procurement deals have brought in nearly $3 billion in Mossad-endorsed hardware, including Heron UAVs, Tavor assault rifles, and Spice-2000 bomb guidance kits — all of which were reportedly used in high-profile operations like the Balakot strike.
Joint ventures now involve advanced platforms like the Barak-8 missile system, HAROP kamikaze drones, and EL/M-2080 Green Pine radars, demonstrating how RAW-Mossad collaboration has evolved from tactical coordination to joint deployment of weapons systems.
Since 2017, the alliance has expanded into cyber-security and surveillance, with RAW and Mossad conducting joint training exercises and integrating defence digital infrastructure. Israeli firms like IAI and Elbit Systems now work alongside Indian contractors to produce drones like the Hermes 900 on RAW’s behalf.
Notably, the TecSAR spy satellite, launched under ISRO’s banner but designed by Mossad-linked entities, is now part of a surveillance network feeding intelligence directly into RAW’s operations.
Defence analysts warn that this intelligence-military nexus poses a coordinated threat, particularly as Mossad-origin drone systems and guidance technology have been linked to RAW-led operations in regional conflicts such as Operation Bandar and other covert missions.
“The RAW–Mossad alliance is no longer hidden in the shadows,” a retired Pakistani military official stated. “It’s a functioning war machine with clear objectives: destabilisation and dominance.”
In response, experts urge Pakistan to intensify its pursuit of defence self-reliance, indigenous technology, and proactive intelligence measures, as the region faces a growing two-front challenge driven by hostile intelligence agencies with overlapping agendas.
