Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has accused India of financing the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) to wage a bloody proxy war against Pakistan, declaring that the group’s campaign of terror is being orchestrated and funded from across the border.
Speaking with media, the Defence Minister said the BLA is acting as a proxy for India and receiving direct financial support to unleash violence on Pakistani soil. “India gives them money to spill blood here. This is not a mere allegation — we will prove it,” he asserted.
Condemning the targeting of innocent civilians, including women and children, Khawaja Asif said such acts expose the true face of terror outfits and erode any false narrative of legitimacy they attempt to portray. “Movements that attack the defenceless ultimately lose public support and collapse under the weight of their own brutality,” he remarked.
He vowed that Pakistan will respond to terrorism with full force and resolve. “Our response will be uncompromising. The state will not allow foreign-funded terror to destabilize the country.”
The Defence Minister’s statement underscores Pakistan’s growing concerns over India’s alleged involvement in fomenting unrest in Balochistan and comes amid heightened efforts by the government to expose and dismantle foreign-backed terrorist networks.
