In the wake of the recent terrorist incidents in Ziarat and along the N-25 highway, security forces have significantly intensified intelligence-based operations across Balochistan against terrorist networks identified as Fitna Al Hindustan (FAH) and Fitna Al Khawarij (FAK).
According to security sources, a comprehensive counterterrorism campaign is currently underway to dismantle militant infrastructure, eliminate operational cells, and disrupt support networks responsible for orchestrating attacks against Pakistan’s security forces, civilians, and critical national assets.
Officials stated that, during the ongoing operations, 38 terrorists affiliated with FAH and FAK have been killed, while search-and-clearance operations continue across multiple areas. Security forces remain engaged in pursuing additional militants believed to be operating within the province.
The ongoing campaign is described as one of the most determined counterterrorism efforts in recent months, combining intelligence-driven operations with coordinated ground action to deny terrorist groups the ability to regroup, reorganize, or launch further attacks.
Security officials further indicated that operational planning extends beyond immediate tactical engagements. Investigations are continuing into the networks responsible for financing, facilitating, directing, and supporting terrorist activities. According to the officials, efforts are focused on dismantling the complete command-and-control structure behind these attacks, including individuals alleged to be operating from outside Pakistan.
Authorities emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to pursuing all those involved in terrorism, whether they participate directly in attacks or provide logistical, financial, or operational support. Officials maintained that no individual or organization involved in sponsoring terrorism would remain beyond the reach of the law.
The latest operations underscore Pakistan’s continued resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and to restore lasting peace and stability across Balochistan. Security forces remain on high alert, with intelligence-based operations expected to continue until the terrorist threat has been comprehensively neutralized.
Officials reiterated that every necessary measure will be taken to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty, protect its citizens, and ensure that those responsible for acts of terrorism are held accountable.
