Security forces conducted a late-night intelligence-based operation in the Rodenjo Cross area of Basima tehsil in Washuk District, eliminating two terrorists affiliated with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), sources confirmed.

The operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists involved in criminal activities, including looting civilians and disrupting peace in the area.

According to sources, during the exchange, two terrorists were eliminated, while another terrorist sustained injuries. Security forces swiftly secured the area and initiated clearance procedures to ensure no further threat remained.

A substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site, including a vehicle, 30 magazines, 5,208 SMG rounds, and 2,406 M4 rounds, indicating the group’s operational readiness and intent.

Officials stated that such intelligence-based operations are part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and prevent attacks targeting civilians and state institutions.

The banned BLA, described by security authorities as operating within a broader anti-Pakistan framework, has been involved in multiple attacks in recent years, often targeting both civilians and security personnel.

Security forces reiterated their commitment to continue operations across sensitive regions, ensuring that terrorists are neutralized and denied any operational space.
