Pakistan’s security forces have intensified their counter-terrorism efforts in Balochistan, conducting an intelligence-based operation in Ziarat under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3, resulting in the elimination of six terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, according to the information provided by security sources.
The targeted operation was carried out on the basis of actionable intelligence regarding the presence and activities of terrorist elements in the area. During the operation, security forces engaged the suspected militants and successfully eliminated six terrorists.
A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists’ hideout, further underscoring the operational significance of the action and the efforts being made by security forces to disrupt militant networks before they can execute attacks or expand their activities.
The operation in Ziarat reflects the continuing emphasis on intelligence-based action as a central component of Pakistan’s counter-terrorism strategy. By acting on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorist elements, security forces sought to dismantle an operational node and prevent the militants from using the area to plan, facilitate or conduct terrorist activities.
The recovery of a large quantity of weapons following the operation is particularly significant, as the seizure of militant equipment can disrupt the operational capabilities of terrorist networks and limit their ability to sustain violent activities.
