In a recent statement, Iran’s President Pezeshkian outlined the conditions that Tehran considers essential for ending the ongoing conflict, emphasizing Iran’s commitment to regional peace and security.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) yesterday, the President reaffirmed that dialogue with international partners, including Russia and Pakistan, remains a key component of Iran’s diplomatic efforts. “Talking to leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peace in the region,” Pezeshkian wrote.

He stressed that the only pathway to ending the war sparked by the Zionist regime and the United States is through recognition of Iran’s legitimate and indisputable rights, payment of reparations, and firm international guarantees against future acts of aggression.
The President highlighted three key conditions for a sustainable resolution:
-
Acceptance of Iran’s legitimate and indisputable rights a reaffirmation of sovereignty and national interests.
-
Payment of reparations compensation for damages caused by the conflict.
-
Firm international obligations binding guarantees to prevent the recurrence of aggression, ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
According to Pezeshkian, these steps are crucial to restoring trust and fostering a durable peace that addresses both the immediate crisis and broader regional security challenges.
The statement reflects Iran’s ongoing diplomatic engagement and insistence on a rules-based resolution anchored in international law and fairness, underscoring Tehran’s position that sustainable peace cannot be achieved without addressing both accountability and security assurances.
Officials in Tehran have indicated that Iran will continue its efforts through dialogue with regional and international partners, advocating for a resolution that respects sovereignty, compensates for losses, and provides robust guarantees against future hostilities.
