Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held a special interactive session with students participating in ISPR Summer Camp 2026, emphasizing the importance of national security awareness, understanding emerging challenges, and developing resilience against misinformation and propaganda.
The ISPR Summer Camp 2026 is being attended by more than 4,000 students from Grade 9 to Grade 12, representing over 18 cities across Pakistan. The initiative aims to provide young students with greater awareness of national security matters, contemporary challenges, and the role of youth in strengthening national unity and resilience.
During the special session, the DG ISPR provided students with detailed insights into issues related to national security, terrorism, internal and external challenges, and the evolving security environment. He highlighted the importance of informed citizenship, critical thinking, and awareness among the younger generation in addressing modern-day challenges.
Students participating in the summer camp expressed that the interaction helped them gain a better understanding of the security challenges faced by Pakistan and enhanced their awareness regarding complex national and regional security dynamics.
The students were also briefed about the security challenges posed by hostile elements, including terrorist activities in Balochistan and the role of foreign-sponsored proxy networks, including Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij, in attempting to disrupt peace and stability.
Participants emphasized that in the current digital era, misinformation and propaganda campaigns spread rapidly and can influence public perception. They stressed the need for greater awareness, responsible information sharing, and the ability to differentiate between facts and misleading narratives.
The students appreciated the opportunity to engage directly on matters concerning national security and expressed their commitment to contributing positively toward Pakistan’s progress and stability.
Concluding the session, participants reaffirmed their resolve that the entire nation stands united alongside the armed forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism and in safeguarding the country’s peace, security, and sovereignty.
The ISPR Summer Camp reflects continued efforts to connect with Pakistan’s youth, promote awareness, and strengthen the bond between young citizens and national institutions through meaningful educational and interactive initiatives.
