Security forces have neutralized six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts under Operation 11 Garaj.
According to security sources, the operation was launched after receiving intelligence regarding the presence and activities of terrorists in the area. Security forces used artillery fire to target identified hideouts, destroying several terrorist positions.
Six terrorists were neutralized during the strikes, dealing another blow to terrorist elements operating in the area.
A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other equipment was also recovered during the operation, indicating the targeted hideouts were being used to maintain the terrorists’ operational capabilities.
The operation is part of sustained intelligence-based counterterrorism efforts aimed at dismantling terrorist networks, destroying their hideouts and preventing them from establishing footholds in Bajaur.
Security forces continue to maintain surveillance and conduct targeted operations against terrorists in the region, with the latest action further underscoring the pressure being maintained on terrorist networks.
