Security Forces Thwart Major Terror Infiltration from Afghanistan, 13 Terrorists Including 3 Suicide Bombers Killed in North Waziristan

Pakistan’s security forces foiled a major terrorist infiltration attempt from across the Afghan border, killing 13 militants including three suicide bombers in a precision operation near Spinwam in North Waziristan, on Saturday.

According to officials, the engagement took place in the Hassan Khel area along the Pak-Afghan border, where a group of armed terrorists attempted to enter Pakistani territory. Acting on timely intelligence, the security forces swiftly intercepted the group and neutralised them after a fierce exchange of fire.

Three of the slain militants were wearing suicide vests, indicating plans for large-scale attacks inside Pakistan. The bodies have been taken into custody for identification and further investigation.Officials termed the operation a major success against cross-border terrorist networks and reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully alert to any threat to national security.

“Pakistan will not allow its soil to be destabilised by elements operating from across the border. Every such attempt will be met with decisive and immediate action,” a senior official said. The latest operation, they added, underscores the armed forces’ commitment to maintaining lasting peace and stability in the border regions despite persistent attempts by terrorist elements to infiltrate from Afghan soil.
