Security forces carried out a targeted operation against terrorists in the Loni village of Kulachi tehsil, resulting in the neutralization of three terrorists and injuries to four others, according to security sources.

Sources said the operation was conducted by troops of the Al-Buraq Division after receiving intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. A fierce exchange of fire reportedly took place during the raid, leading to the elimination of three terrorists, while four others sustained injuries and are believed to have fled towards nearby areas.

Following the operation, security forces cordoned off the locality and launched a search and clearance operation to trace any remaining terrorist elements and facilitators. Additional troops were deployed to secure the area and prevent the escape of suspects.

Officials said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorist networks and maintain security in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in areas bordering former tribal regions.

No casualties among security personnel were reported immediately. Authorities said the search operation would continue until the area is fully cleared of terrorist presence.
