In a successful intelligence-based operation, security forces eliminated two most-wanted Khawarij in the Teri Mangal area of Kurram District, officials confirmed. According to credible sources, the Khawarij were spotted in the Teri Mangal Bazaar. Upon receiving the intelligence tip-off, two Quick Response Force (QRF) teams swiftly cordoned off the area and engaged the suspects.
During the exchange of fire, one security official sustained minor injuries and was immediately administered first aid.
The slain Khawarij have been identified as:
Wajid Gul, son of Fazal Gul, resident of Kotri, killed
Hafiz, son of Abdul Wakeel, resident of Kotri, killed
District police and intelligence records confirmed that both individuals were listed as high-value targets, each carrying a bounty of Rs. 500,000 on their heads. They were wanted by law enforcement agencies in connection with multiple criminal and anti-state activities. The successful operation marks a significant blow to the Khawarij network operating in the region and underscores the continued commitment of security forces to eliminate threats to national peace and stability.
