Security forces in Balochistan have achieved a significant breakthrough by dismantling a joint network of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in a series of high-level operations across the province.

According to official reports, two militants linked to Indian intelligence agency RAW were killed in separate operations. Among them was Dadullah Bazinjo, a senior figure in the BLF, who led both the group’s political operations and its media cell. His elimination is seen as a major blow to the BLF’s propaganda and strategic coordination.

In a separate operation, Abid Reki, a key BLA commander and head of its bomb-making unit, was killed alongside his associate Sadiq Mari alias Duran. Both militants were reportedly in direct communication with Indian handlers and were involved in planning large-scale attacks in Balochistan.

Officials believe the dismantling of this network will significantly weaken the operational capacity of both BLA and BLF in the region.

Meanwhile, in an apparent retaliatory act, BLA militants assassinated Kaleemullah, a local notable affiliated with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), in the Chaghi area. He was shot dead in a targeted attack, and his body was shifted to a nearby hospital.

In a separate incident, a BLA attack on a police van in Dera Murad Jamali left four police officers injured. One of the officers is reported to be in critical condition, and all injured were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Security has been heightened across Balochistan as intelligence agencies continue to monitor potential retaliatory attacks. The recent operations mark a major setback for militant outfits allegedly operating under foreign influence.
