Pakistan’s Security Forces delivered a major blow to Indian-sponsored terrorist networks in Balochistan, eliminating 17 militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij during two separate Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) conducted in the districts of Kachhi and Kharan on November 1, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Indian-sponsored elements affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in the respective areas.
In the first operation, Security Forces targeted suspected terrorist elements in the Sanni area of District Kachhi. During the operation, the hostile elements attempted to block a road in the area; however, Security Forces responded swiftly and successfully foiled their attempt. The ensuing engagement resulted in the elimination of 10 Indian-sponsored militants. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
In a separate operation in District Kharan, Security Forces successfully traced and neutralized a suspected terrorist hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, seven Indian-sponsored Khawarij were eliminated, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.
However, the Kharan operation also came at a great cost. During the intense firefight, 25-year-old Sepoy Hikmatullah, a resident of District Karak, fought valiantly and embraced martyrdom while defending his country against hostile elements.
The supreme sacrifice of Sepoy Hikmatullah stands as a testament to the courage, dedication and unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces in safeguarding the motherland against threats to national security.
According to ISPR, clearance operations are continuing in both areas to ensure the elimination of any remaining Indian-sponsored elements and to prevent hostile networks from re-establishing their presence.
These successful operations underscore the operational resolve and professional capabilities of Pakistan’s Security Forces in dismantling externally sponsored terrorist networks and disrupting their ability to threaten peace and stability in Balochistan.
The operations are part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under the national vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. Security Forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to pursuing this campaign with renewed determination and comprehensive resolve.
Pakistan’s resolve against foreign-sponsored terrorism remains unwavering. Those seeking to undermine the country’s peace, sovereignty and security will continue to face an uncompromising response from its Security Forces. The supreme sacrifice of its brave soldiers will never be forgotten.
