Roadblocks Removed in Datta Khel After Security Commander Meets Elders

A local military unit commander held a jirga with tribal elders in the Mohammad Khel area of Boya in Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan, with the local revenue and police officials also attending the meeting.

The jirga focused on issues affecting the local population, particularly restrictions on civilian movement and other concerns raised by residents.

Following the meeting, the unit commander visited the Mohammad Khel post along with the elders. Roadblocks and other obstacles restricting the movement of local residents were subsequently removed, easing access for the civilian population.

The move allowed residents to travel more freely for their daily activities and addressed concerns raised by the community, according to local sources.

The engagement is part of efforts to maintain communication between security authorities and local communities in the area, where security measures have previously affected civilian movement.
