Pakistan’s Security Forces conducted a successful aerial operation in the Qalat area of Balochistan, targeting terrorist elements involved in creating law-and-order challenges by blocking roads and targeting vehicles travelling through the area.
Acting on intelligence regarding the presence and activities of the identified terrorists, Security Forces carried out a precision aerial strike against the targeted elements. As a result of the operation, two terrorists were eliminated.
According to initial information, the targeted individuals were involved in blocking roads and stopping vehicles, subsequently subjecting travellers and motorists to robbery and intimidation. Such activities not only posed a direct threat to the safety and security of citizens but also disrupted the movement of people and traffic along important routes in the region.
The successful operation represents a significant action against terrorist elements exploiting remote areas to establish temporary roadblocks, intimidate local communities and target vehicles for criminal and terrorist activities.
Following the operation, security personnel undertook necessary measures to secure and sanitize the area and to ensure that no remaining threat existed in the vicinity. Further details regarding the identities and affiliations of the eliminated terrorists are being ascertained.
