Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Armed Forces, Pakistan and Afghan Taliban Clashes

Across Pakistan, including the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, public demonstrations have been reported in which citizens expressed strong opposition to what they described as the provocative actions of the Taliban.

Local residents from different areas of the province organized rallies to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces and to condemn cross-border violence.

In Swat Valley, a young participant stated that Pakistan was founded on the principles of the declaration of faith and that the country cannot be defeated by any external force.

From Lower Dir (Timergara), another citizen expressed anger over cross-border militant violence, claiming that Afghan militants had used Pakistani territory despite living in Pakistan for extended periods in the past. He alleged that attacks were carried out under external influence and said that Pakistani forces had responded strongly.

In Chitral, residents emphasized national unity and pledged support for the country’s security institutions. An elderly resident stated that no one could occupy even an inch of Pakistani territory and praised the military for protecting national sovereignty.

Another citizen from the same region expressed that Pakistani citizens stand united with their armed forces in counterterrorism efforts. Public sentiment, as reflected in these gatherings, highlighted strong nationalistic support for state security institutions.

The demonstrations reflect public concern over regional security tensions and underline widespread calls for protection against cross-border threats. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as border-related developments remain sensitive.
